# Core Contributors Dbook Labs is a core driver the growth for dbook, led by [0xNerdz](https://x.com/0x_nerdz). The team used previously involved with algorithmic trading on DEXes and have since expanded to building DEX building as well. It seemed almost certain from the 2020 defi summer that order book dexes would have taken over the market. However, in 2025, this is still not the case. The team felt that defi was being underserved, and hence the motivation for dbook. The team is set on providing the community with a platform to freely list and trade tokens at scale.
